Chris Saenz

I’ve been passionate about technology since a young age. My father was a programmer and computers were always part of my life. I have experience with every version of Windows since Win95, and have run Linux servers for nearly 20 years. I have built several computers and servers from components, and upgraded many others with fast SSDs and increased memory. Why get rid of hardware that still works, if it can be upgraded?

I have experience with many of the popular website frameworks including WordPress, Drupal, Discourse, Django, Hugo, and Flask. I have managed ERP software like Odoo and Quickbooks Enterprise, along with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure at an enterprise level.

My understanding of complex networking has increased dramatically over the past several years while serving as the IT Director for a local ISP. I have experience running networks at every speed and capacity from 40G long-haul fiber links to 9600 baud serial connections and everything in between. I specialize in network security and redundancy, and can recommend VPNs or remote management solutions for every problem.

Because I live here, I can provide prompt service anywhere near Owen County KY. While many IT companies rely on remote troubleshooting, I will come right to your door. I have strong ties to the local community, and it is my pleasure to serve you directly. I strive to be responsive and timely. Your call is my top priority!

Our Story

In 2021 I became the IT Director of a local ISP. This role gave me hands-on experience supporting business customers with a range of IT needs—from network security and wireless network design to setting up security cameras and configuring essential devices.

After 3 years, most of these business customers were purchased by a larger ISP which doesn’t offer IT service. But the need still exists, as does the local ISP. I reached an agreement with them to continue offering my services, directly to clients.

With Lock3, I’m excited to offer the same reliable, direct service to a wider range of businesses. My clients know they’ll get personal attention and expert support whenever they need it, just as they always have.

Frequently Asked Questions

Broadlinc/Spectrum

As of October 2024 I still work for Broadlinc Communications, as the IT Director. I still provide business IT support in that role to Broadlinc customers.

In 2024, the HFC (coaxial cable) plant assets of Broadlinc were sold to Charter Communications (Spectrum). All customers receiving cable or fiber service will be served by Spectrum going forward. During a  transitional period Broadlinc will continue to serve these customers until Spectrum is prepared to switch services over. However, Spectrum is not offering managed IT services at this time.

During this transition, all business customers will receive the same exceptional service as always, at the previously established rates.

At the end of this period, all transitioning business customers who wish to retain IT service will need to engage with Lock3 directly. Please give us a call and let us ensure a smooth transition.

One of two things will happen: if you own the equipment, you will keep it. We will continue to manage it through the transition period, unless you request otherwise. After the transition completes, you will continue to own the equipment but it will be unmanaged unless you switch to Lock3. We will seamlessly transfer the management backend once an agreement is in place.

If you do not own the equipment, those assets will transfer to Spectrum. We have no say in what happens next, you will need to contact them to find out what to do. In the event that you retain the equipment through some arrangement with Spectrum, you can engage the management services of Lock3 and we will transfer the backend seamlessly once an agreement is in place.
